Size & Gender

Depending on the brand, each pair of male adult trousers has the option of either a short, regular or long length leg. Each length measurement can slightly differ between the different brands, as normally a short length leg would come between 30 and 31 inches long, a regular between 32 and 33 inches and therefore a long length typically starts at 34 inches. At the waist our smallest male trousers begin at 30 inches wide and then increase 2 inches per size until it reaches our largest pair of 58 inches. Waterproof trousers are measured slightly differently, as these come in either Small, Medium, Large, XL and XXL. Depending on the brand, Small waterproof trousers measure at 32 inches wide, Medium are 34 inches, a Large is 36 inches, XL 38 inches and XXL 40 inches.

Women’s golf trousers also come with the option of either a short, regular and long length leg. Depending on the brand, normally women’s golf trouser lengths are 2 inches shorter than the adjacent male leg length. Therefore a female short trouser is 28 inches long, a regular length is 30 inches and a long length is 32 inches. The majority of female golf trousers start at size 6 and increase in multiples of 2 up until size 20. Some female trousers are also chartered differently and come in sizes of XS, Small, Medium, Large, XL and XXL.

Junior trousers are filtered in sizes corresponding to the child’s age. Sizes can vary slightly between brands but are normally separated between ages 7 to 8 years old, 9 to 10 years old and 11 to 12 years old. If your child is considerably smaller or taller for their age then the junior may venture into the relevant age bracket either below or above them to ensure the pair fits for as long as possible.
